Maintenance Fitters, Metal Machinist & Electricians

We are an Australian owned meat processing plant based in Cootamundra, with a state of the art cattle processing facility. We are looking for experiencedMaintenance Fitters, Metal Machinists and Electricians for morning and afternoon shifts. While we are looking for experienced Fitters, Metal Machinists and Electricians, we are interested in interviewing third and fourth year apprentices also.

You will be responsible for the daily maintenance functions for the processing plant. Your day-to-day activities will include but not limited to machine fault finding, to ensure challenging production targets are met, equipment optimization and involvement in an ongoing preventative maintenance and general trouble shooting duties.

This is a challenging but rewarding role for the right person who wants to be part of a great team delivering a proactive maintenance program.

Experience and skills required for this role:





A strong level of mechanical aptitude and experience with conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics and welding/Fabrication skills preferably in the food processing industry or similar.

Resolution of operational or technical equipment problems, to minimize processing interruptions resulting from equipment breakdowns and / or failures.

Willing to work overtime if required to complete a task.

Ability to work alone or as part of a team.

An excellent problem solver and have good analytical skills.

Maintaining clean work areas to ensure hygiene needs of site are met.

Ensuring you and your team are working in a protected environment.

Remuneration
This is subject to your skills, qualifications and experience but it would be within a salary range of between $70,000 - $90,000 per annum + superannuation.
