Store Manager | Romeo’s Retail Group | Location within metropolitan South Australia

Romeo’s Retail Group is seeking an experienced and driven Store Manager to lead the overall operations and performance of our store. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on delivering strong financial results, high operational standards, and an engaged, high-performing team.

About the Role
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the store, ensuring sales and profitability targets are achieved while maintaining exceptional customer service and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead store operations to achieve sales, profit, and customer service targets

- Manage budgets, stock control, and waste to deliver strong P&L; outcomes

- Maintain high standards of merchandising, presentation, and store cleanliness

- Oversee rostering, labour management, and team productivity

- Recruit, train, and develop team members, building strong succession pipelines

- Ensure compliance with food safety, WHS, and company policies

- Handle customer feedback and build strong community relationships

About You

- Proven experience as a Store Manager, ideally within supermarket or grocery retail

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams

- Solid financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L;

- Highly organised with strong attention to detail

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

- Flexible to work weekends and varied hours
