ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Yard Person join our awesome Atherton team. Delivering unsurpassed level of service, this role takes responsibility for maintaining an orderly yard, replenishing stock, preparing orders, assisting customers and loading deliveries.

Our store is open 6 days a week, this role will require 1 Saturday every 4 weeks on a rostered basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

- Receive, move, relocate, store and load stock in keeping with the company WHS practices
- Prepare orders for delivery in an accurate and timely manner, including being appropriately packaged for transport
- Collate and load customer orders ready for delivery or pick up by customer
- Maintain yard and work workplace in a clean and secure manner adhering to workplace health and safety guidelines
- Have a commitment to ongoing job security

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS





- High awareness of site safety and duty of care for your team, staff and site visitors
- Physically fit with the ability to safely lift loads and manually handle goods
- Exceptional attention to detail coupled with high level of accuracy
- Medium Rigid Vehicle Licence (MR) Desirable but not essential
- Forklift Licence (LF) Essential
- Finally have a ‘hands on’ with a 'can do' attitude
