We are searching for a self‑motivated, reliable, energetic Mechanical Fitter to join the great team in Beresfield.

Responsibilities

- Strip and assess mineral processing equipment
- Refurbish mineral processing equipment
- Complete modifications to mineral processing equipment
- Repair, assemble, install items in accordance with approved procedures and drawings
- Construct plant equipment
- Carry out workshop duties as requested by leaders
- Complete all allocated work as part of the on‑the‑job training supplied by FLSmidth Pty Limited
- Adhere to all legislative requirements and other company policies and procedures
- Adhere to FLSmidth safety policies and procedures
- Represent FLSmidth Pty Limited positively and responsibly at all times

What You Bring

- Trade certificate in fitting
- Previous employment with repair and maintenance of mineral processing equipment (crushers, vibrating screens, gearboxes)
- Basic welding skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- A team player approach
- Valuable interpersonal skills
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces as required (training provided if required)
- Forklift licence
- Driver’s licence
