The role

We are seeking an experienced Merchandise Manager to help lead operations at our Henty branch. This is a senior, client facing role with real ownership. Working with the Business Unit Manager who oversees the Henty and Yerong Creek branches, you will manage an established book of business, drive growth across the district, and represent Delta Ag's full range of products and services in the market.

Working alongside the Riverina branches and the wider Delta network, you will supply and advise clients across the full range of farm inputs, including agchem, fertiliser, animal health, seasonal finance and general merchandise, while identifying and developing new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

- Help manage and grow an established client base, delivering high quality sales and technical support across the rural product range
- Oversee branch merchandise operations, including inventory management, ordering, invoicing, and cash and credit transactions
- Coordinate the delivery of product to clients, including on farm where required
- Partner with staff to maintain workplace health and safety standards
- Maintain a high standard of presentation and organisation across the store and storage areas

About you

- Proven sales and customer service experience within the rural or agribusiness sector
- Sound knowledge of farm input products
- Demonstrated capability in stock control, ordering and inventory management




- Solid commercial acumen and a track record of achieving sales targets
- High attention to detail and a genuine commitment to quality, standards and WHS
- Sound administrative and computer skills, particularly in invoicing and stock systems
- A forklift licence, or the willingness to obtain one
- A truck licence, or the willingness to obtain one soon after commencing
- A collaborative approach and a commitment to contributing to the wider team
