About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join the Ryan Conroy Mechanical Pty Ltd team in Fernvale, Queensland. As a full time Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a range of heavy machinery and vehicles. Positions available in Brisbane and NSW (remote work).

What you'll be doing

1. Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other heavy-duty components

2. Perform scheduled maintenance on a variety of heavy equipment, including trucks, dozers, and excavators

3. Undertake fault-finding and troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical issues

4. Maintain detailed records of all work performed

5. Ensure a safe and organised work environment

6. Provide exceptional customer service and support

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic

2. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

3. Excellent knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance and repair

4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

5. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work

6. Relevant trade qualifications or certifications

7. A current driver's licence
