About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial/Residential/Facility Maintenance Painter to join Dynamix Painting & Decorating Pty Ltd. This role is based in Brisbane, QLD 4000. As an experienced painter, you will be responsible for delivering professional painting and decorating services across a diverse range of commercial, residential, and facility maintenance projects. This is an excellent chance for a skilled tradesperson who values quality workmanship and takes pride in their craft. Your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring client satisfaction on every project.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paint, stains, and other decorative finishes using appropriate techniques and equipment for various surfaces and project types
- Perform interior and exterior painting work on residential properties, commercial buildings, and facility maintenance projects
- Maintain a clean and secure work workplace, including proper storage and handling of materials and equipment
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client specifications
- Communicate effectively with project supervisors,



clients, and team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies on job sites
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any defects or maintenance requirements
- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of craftsmanship
- Must be able and competent to work unsupervised
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Must have own basic hand tools and gear.
- Must be willing to travel, work away from home when required, and occasionally work nights and weekends.

- Reliability and professional attitude with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a flexible, casual capacity
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to different job sites
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in painting trades are advantageous
