Finance Manager and Business Partner (Part-Time)

Looking for a Finance Professional Who Enjoys Making a Real Difference?

Some finance roles are about processing transactions and preparing reports.

This isn't one of them.

We're searching for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys understanding how a business operates, what drives profitability and how better information can support better decisions.

This is a adaptable part-time opportunity (25 hours per week, ideally spread across 5 days) suited to someone looking to combine meaningful work, commercial influence and work-life balance.

Our client is a well-established Australian business with an impressive track record and ambitious plans for continued growth. They are now seeking a Finance Manager and Business Partner to take ownership of the finance function and become a trusted adviser to the CEO and leadership team.

This is an opportunity to step into a role with genuine influence; where your input will be valued, your experience respected, and your contribution visible across the organisation.

About the Role:

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee the finance function and provide the financial leadership required to help the business continue to scale successfully.

This is a hands-on role, but equally important is your ability to interpret what the numbers are saying and help the business make informed decisions.

You’ll work closely with operational leaders, challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, improve reporting and provide commercial insights that influence strategy and performance.

The successful candidate will inherit a stable finance setting and be supported by external accounting and advisory specialists, allowing the role to focus on business performance, financial control, reporting and decision support.
