About the Role

As the Lifestyle Coordinator, you will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of engaging lifestyle and wellbeing programs that support residents to live fulfilling, connected and meaningful lives.

Working closely with residents, families and care teams, you will ensure activities reflect individual preferences, abilities, cultural backgrounds and personal goals. You will also play a key role in building community connections and creating opportunities that bring the outside community into the home.

We are looking for someone who thinks creatively, embraces new ideas and enjoys building relationships that enrich the lives of residents.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver an engaging, person-centred lifestyle and wellbeing program.

Build strong relationships with residents and families to understand what is meaningful to them.

Coordinate individual and group activities, special events, celebrations and outings.

Establish and maintain partnerships with schools, churches, volunteers, entertainers and community organisations.

Promote intergenerational and community engagement initiatives.





Create opportunities that celebrate residents' cultures, traditions, interests and life experiences.

Encourage participation, independence, choice and social connection.

Collaborate with clinical, hospitality and leadership teams to enhance resident wellbeing.

Manage lifestyle documentation and ensure compliance with aged care standards and regulatory requirements.

Monitor resident engagement and continuously improve programs through feedback and evaluation.

Support, mentor and inspire the lifestyle team and volunteers to deliver outstanding experiences.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

Experience in lifestyle, leisure, recreation, wellbeing or diversional therapy programs within residential aged care.

Qualifications in Leisure and Health, Diversional Therapy, Lifestyle, Community Services or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

A genuine commitment to enhancing the lives of older people.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Demonstrated ability to engage residents, families, volunteers and community groups.

Creativity and enthusiasm with the confidence to introduce new and innovative ideas.

Strong organisational, planning and leadership capabilities.

An understanding of person-centred care principles and the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.

The ability to meet all aged care compliance and screening requirements.
