MedicalJobsAustralia.com We currently have exciting opportunities for casual Grade 2 Speech Pathologists to join our team at Epworth Geelong, based in Waurn Ponds. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work across a diverse hospital caseload, delivering high-quality, patient-centred assessment, management and intervention for inpatients and outpatients experiencing swallowing, communication and cognitive impairments.

You'll be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for our patients. You will make an impact with your: Ability to assess and evaluate patients in relation to communication and swallowing abilities and upon diagnosis determine appropriate treatment

Strong knowledge within the assessment and management of swallowing and communication disorders and how these can have a direct impact on a patient's overall health and quality of life Ability to provide evidence-based, patient-centred care Ability to work collaboratively and confidently within the multidisciplinary team

Strong time-management, problem solving and prioritisation skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills To be successful in the role, you will have:

- Demonstrate relevant hospital experience (preferred)
- Present with experience in tracheostomy management (desired)
- Be experienced in administering and interpreting Videofluoroscopy Assessment and-or Fibreoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of the swallow
