MongoDB is seeking a Staff Engineer for the Storage Layer Services team in Sydney. We are re-architecting the cloud storage layer to deliver high-performance, multi-tenant distributed storage systems and to power more customer use cases.

You will work across Sydney and North America, shaping a 6–18 month roadmap, writing production-ready Rust and C++ code, and pushing improvements across teams. The role emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and solid engineering fundamentals.
