Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic | Open Cut Mining

Mader Group is seeking experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics to join our high-performing maintenance team supporting a large-scale open cut mining operation.

The Role

Working across a large open cut fleet, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, diagnostics, breakdowns and repairs on equipment including:

- Loaders

- Excavators

- Dozers

- Haul Trucks

- Hitachi

- Liebherr

- Komatsu

Experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi or Liebherr is highly regarded.

About You

- Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent

- Experience maintaining heavy mobile mining equipment

- Open cut mining experience highly regarded

- Minimum 3+ years post-trade experience

- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities





- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

- Certificate of Proficiency (COP) highly regarded
