Our client is undertaking a major identity and access management initiative to strengthen security across its workforce. They are seeking an experienced Windows Hello for Business (WHfB) Consultant to lead the discovery, design and implementation of modern authentication solutions across the enterprise.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on technical consulting engagement where you'll be responsible for delivering a Windows Hello for Business implementation from end to end. You'll work closely with infrastructure, security, endpoint and business stakeholders to assess the current workplace, develop a fit-for-purpose solution, and deliver a secure authentication experience across Windows and mobile users. With a fixed delivery deadline, you'll play a key role in ensuring the project is delivered on time while driving adoption of stronger multi-factor authentication across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead discovery workshops to understand user personas, device estate and authentication requirements.
- Assess existing Windows endpoints, identity infrastructure and authentication methods.
- Design and implement Windows Hello for Business across enterprise Windows devices.
- Develop migration and rollout strategies for WHfB deployment.
- Upgrade mobile-only users from SMS/voice-based authentication to Microsoft Authenticator or an equivalent modern MFA solution.
- Work closely with Infrastructure, Security,



Endpoint Management and Identity teams throughout delivery.
- Produce solution design documentation, implementation guides and operational handover documentation.
- Support pilot deployments, testing, user adoption and production rollout.
- Identify project risks, dependencies and remediation strategies to ensure delivery within tight timelines.
- Proven experience designing and implementing Windows Hello for Business (WHfB) in enterprise environments.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory and Hybrid Identity.
- Experience implementing modern authentication and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Authenticator and passwordless authentication technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager and Windows device management.
- Knowledge of PKI, certificates, TPM, Conditional Access and Microsoft identity technologies.
- Experience running discovery workshops and producing high-level and detailed solution designs.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to deliver projects within tight deadlines and fast-paced enterprise environments.
- Experience delivering enterprise identity or Zero Trust initiatives.
- Experience with Microsoft security technologies including Conditional Access and Defender.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (Identity, Security or Endpoint Management).
