The Role
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper with a Payroll background to join our established finance team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Reporting directly to our Financial Controller, this role operates within a supportive team of finance professionals. You will assist with a broad range of accounting functions, focusing heavily on core ledgers, ledger reconciliations, and month-end close processes.

Duties

- Assisting with monthly and statutory financial reporting including board reports, profit & loss and balance sheets

- Providing support to the accounts payable, receivable and Payroll functions

- General administrative duties, as required

- Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations

About you
We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who wants to learn and work across different parts of our finance team.



Your main job will be keeping our financial data accurate so management can make positive decisions. It is a great role for someone who wants to help keep our finances stable while building up their own accounting skills

The successful applicant will require:

- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to capture data accurately and think analytically

- Solid understanding of general accounting practices, including accounts payable, receivable and some payroll experience

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Fantastic problem-solving abilities with a proactive and solution-focused mindset

- Self-drive and adaptability and be able to manage time effectively.

- Experience with Pronto ERP is highly desirable but not essential
