As a Mechanical Fitter with AES, you will be responsiblefor inspecting, maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment,ensuring machinery operates efficiently, safely and reliably whileminimizing downtime. The role will also support the completion ofspecial builds, service trucks and water carts, including theinstallation and fitment of trays, accessories, PTO/HYD systems andassociated mechanical components.

In this role you will be responsible for:

- Fit and install trays, toolboxes and associated equipmentto service trucks and specialized builds
- Install, fit and commission PTO/HYD systems and associatedmechanical components
- Carry out mechanical fitment and modifications to servicetrucks, water carts
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, manualsand work instructions




- Inspect and test equipment to ensure operationalefficiency, reliability and compliance with safetystandards
- Operate hand and power tools and precision measuringequipment
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and workshopsafety
- Work collaboratively with managers, supervisors and othertrades to support operational requirements
- Perform additional duties within your skills,qualifications and level of competence as required.

What we are looking for:

- Australian Manual Drivers Licence
- Australian/NZ Recognised Trade Certificate
- Experience with special builds, service trucks, water cartsor heavy mobile equipment
- Strong safety focus with a working knowledge of WorkSaferegulations
- Ability to work autonomously
- Tickets and licences EG: Forklift, Dogging, Rigging, WAH,Crane, etc
