About Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our cardiac surgical team at John Flynn Private Hospital. In this critical role, you will provide specialised nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional clinical skills, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

As a member of our clinical team at John Flynn Private Hospital you will be planning, evaluating and delivering care to patients with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to our patients.

About You:

Essential Criteria

- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 12 months’ experience working in an acute setting (Cardiac Surgical preferred)
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
- Highly organised with a proven ability to manage emergency situations
- Demonstrates strong adaptability in dynamic situations
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience working with chest drains & Pacing




- Experience with post-op Cardiac and Vascular angiograms
