About the Team UTS Business School, based in the Dr Chau Chak Wing Building in Ultimo, is the largest Faculty at UTS. It is one of the largest business schools in Australia, with over 10,000 students and approximately 350 staff. UTS Business School comprised of five Departments and two major Research Centres.

The Business

School seeks to provide higher education aimed at building knowledge and enhancing professional practice, promoting scholarship, research, and executive education in all the key business disciplines as well as in a number of specialised areas. We also seek to maintain relationships with the business community, our alumni and our external stakeholders, locally and internationally.

About the Role The Academic Services Officer is responsible for the day-to-day operations of academic administration across a number of programs. You will be expected to work across the full range of academic administration activities associated with the student life-cycle including admission, orientation, enrolments, progression and subject delivery. If successful in applying for this role, you will be responsible for: Assisting with delivering the full range of academic administration related to the student life-cycle, including supporting systems and processes associated with academic administration.

Working collaboratively with the Academic Services Coordinator and Officers, Program Directors and Subject Coordinators, providing clear,



consistent and accurate advice on matters relating to academic programs and student course administration to support students and all internal and external stakeholders.

Relating academic policy to work assignments and thinking creatively about maximising the student experience and delivering excellent support to academic staff.

Actively participating in ASU continuous improvement processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, providing feedback to relevant areas and contributing to the streamlining of academic service processes, communication lines and support services With examples, please outline within your Cover Letter, how you meet the following key selection criteria: Demonstrated customer service skills with experience in dealing effectively with challenging situations.

Ability to manage key stakeholder relationships both internal and external with diplomacy and tact in a pressured environment.

Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and maintain a high degree of quality and accuracy.

Proven ability to interpret and apply organisational policies, legislative obligations, rules and procedural requirements to ensure compliance while exercising sound judgment.

Proficiency in the use of a range of software programs and computer applications such as MSOffice: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams Remuneration &

Benefits Base Salary Range: $75,243 - $86,078pa (HEW 5) This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary. UTS staff also benefit from a wide range of Employee Benefits include flexible work practices, generous parental leave and salary packaging opportunities.
