Mining Account Manager - Full Time

We're seeking an experienced Mining Account Manager to oversee a major Tier 1 mining account and play a key role in shaping future project opportunities across a growing mining portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines robust relationship management skills with commercial acumen and a practical understanding of how site-based operations function.

The Opportunity

As the primary interface between the client and delivery teams, you'll be responsible for managing customer relationships, identifying opportunities, shaping project scopes and ensuring successful project execution.

Working closely with technical, engineering and service delivery teams, you'll help drive growth while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with customer expectations.

Based across Perth offices and the client's Perth Airport facilities, the role also includes occasional site travel.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Manage and grow relationships with key stakeholders across a Tier 1 mining customer

✅ Identify and develop opportunities within an established mining portfolio

✅ Collaborate with customers to define scopes of work and commercially viable solutions

✅ Coordinate project delivery from concept through to execution

✅ Maintain forecasting, pipeline and reporting activities

✅ Support contract management and compliance requirements





✅ Work closely with engineering, project and operational teams to achieve successful outcomes

About You To be successful, you'll have:

- Experience within the mining industry, ideally with Rio Tinto or another Tier 1 mining company
- 3 years' experience in account management, project management, client delivery or electrical supervision
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify growth opportunities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive and collaborative approach to managing customer relationships
- Current WA C Class Driver's Licence
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

Highly Regarded

- Electrical industry experience
- Critical power or power generation experience
- Exposure to maintenance, projects or operational support within mining environments
