About the role Code Red is a critical fire alarm monitoring solution that connects fire alarm panels directly to emergency services, helping ensure rapid response when an alarm is activated. As part of Chubb Fire & Security, Code Red plays an important role in protecting people, property and business continuity for customers across a range of industries.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager NSW, you will manage and develop a portfolio of major customers across NSW, VIC and the ACT. You will be a key point of contact for Code Red customers and the primary escalation point for sales and account-related matters.
You will build trusted, long-term partnerships, ensure contractual commitments are met and identify opportunities to expand recurring service revenue. Your ability to balance customer needs with commercial outcomes will help protect margin, improve account performance and support long-term client retention. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow relationships with key Code Red customers across NSW, VIC and the ACT.
Develop a strong understanding of each customer’s business, priorities and service requirements.
Provide responsive, qualified support and take ownership of escalated customer matters through to resolution.
Identify cross-sell, upsell and new-business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
Achieve agreed sales, retention, revenue and margin targets.
Prepare and distribute accurate customer reports in line with contractual requirements.
Coordinate with Service Managers, Supervisors, Administration and Sales teams to ensure seamless account delivery.
Maintain accurate customer, contract and account information across CRM and service-management systems.
Support tender submissions, ensuring documentation is accurate, compliant and submitted on time.
Monitor account performance, customer feedback, competitor activity and emerging market opportunities.
Provide customers with informed advice on relevant products, technology solutions and compliance requirements.
Champion continuous improvement, service quality, ethical business practices and health, safety and environmental standards.
About
You
You are a proactive, commercially minded account management professional who thrives on developing long-term customer partnerships. You are organised, persuasive and solutions-focused, with the ability to balance service excellence, operational priorities and commercial performance.
You may come from fire protection, facilities management, security, property services, construction, telecommunications, technology, logistics or another industry. More important than your sector experience is your ability to understand customer needs, build credibility and deliver results. To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Demonstrated experience in account management, key account management, business development or a similar customer-facing role.
At least two years’ sales experience,
with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Strong relationship-building, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
A commercial mindset and the ability to identify opportunities that create value for customers and the business.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities across a broad geographical portfolio.
Confidence using KPIs and performance data to monitor account health and drive improvement.
Experience using CRM and service-management platforms.
The ability to develop technical product knowledge and communicate features, perks and value clearly.
A current driver licence and the ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check.
Experience in the fire or another service-based industry, familiarity with AS 1851-2012, and knowledge of platforms such as iSales or Field Service will be highly regarded but are not essential. Pre‑Employment Requirements:
Appointment to this role is subject to the successful completion of a mandatory pre-employment Medical Assessment, Drug and Alcohol screening, and National Police Check. The successful applicant may also be required to obtain and maintain additional security clearances relevant to the role.
