They are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to support a critical 12 month period, with strong potential for extension. This is a broad, hands-on role working closely with an experienced Financial Controller across year-end, audit and key finance projects, while contributing to meaningful process improvements.

The Role

You’ll play a key role across both BAU and project work, including:

- Leading end of financial year processes and supporting financial reporting

- Managing audit preparation, coordination and queries

- Completing historical reconciliations and balance sheet clean-up

- Driving process improvement initiatives and developing documentation

- Partnering with the Financial Controller to enhance systems, controls and workflows





- Supporting and upskilling junior team members

About You

- CA/CPA qualified (or nearing completion)

- Solid experience in financial accounting, audit and reconciliations

- Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced contract environment

- Proactive with a focus on continuous improvement

- Strong communication skills and ability to partner with stakeholders
