ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to manage the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments across the business.

A key focus of this position is to ensure invoices are accurately reviewed, appropriately approved and processed in line with company policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an Accounts Payable or similar role, with solid attention to detail and organisational skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Process and reconcile invoices, payments and staff expense claims accurately and on time.

- Liaise with suppliers,



contractors and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice queries and discrepancies.

- Verify and maintain supplier and contractor records, including new account setups.

- Maintain payment registers, debtor reconciliations and AP reports.

- Support the wider Accounts Payable team with reporting, compliance and ad-hoc duties.

REQUIREMENTS

- Diploma/Degree qualified with a discipline in Accounting or Finance

- Experience in accounts administration or similar role using Xero or Expenses Systems

- Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles

- Attention to detail

- Extensive knowledge of Excel and MS Office programs

- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic

Must have valid work rights in Australia/ NZ, and the ability to obtain a police clearance.
