Join National 360’s warm and supportive Alexandria team and make a meaningful impact as a PBS Practitioner. We’re seeking a Core Level or above practitioner who values clinical autonomy, collaboration, and creating positive outcomes for the people we support.
About The Role
You’ll enjoy a versatile working model that includes in-home visits, clinic-based sessions, and outreach across the local community.
This role is all about improving quality of life for individuals and those around them.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Relationship Building: Providing and developing strong, collaborative relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders.
- Compliance & Practice: Ensuring compliance with NDIS guidelines by reviewing and actively reducing restrictive practices.
- Assessment: Conducting comprehensive Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) to identify underlying needs.
- Support Design: Designing and implementing person-centred Behaviour Support Plans that promote positive change.
- Capacity Building: Providing education and training to carers and support teams to build capacity and confidence.
- Data Analysis: Collecting and analysing data regularly to monitor progress and inform ongoing support strategies.

About You
We believe that talented clinicians are developed and nurtured,
not just found through an exhaustive list of requirements. With that being said, there are a few requirements for our PBS practitioners, which are:
- Endorsed as 'Core' or above against the PBS Capability Framework (evidence of letter of suitability from the NDIS Commission also required).
- You hold a relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, or Teaching).
- You have full Australian working rights (or pending).
- You have prior experience in community, private or acute settings.
- Have worked as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner.
- You demonstrate sound NDIS clinical knowledge, with demonstrated experience in completing formal assessments and developing robust Behaviour Support Plans.
- You have access to your own vehicle and hold a current driver's licence.
- You have or are willing to obtain a NDIS Workers Check and Working with children check.
