Our client is a premier Australian commercial law firm. They are trusted advisors to entrepreneurial businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and public companies (local and international). This firm handles some of the most complex, high-stakes transactions and disputes in the country. At this firm, lawyers work closely with partners and clients.

About the Role

Our client's national tax practice is widely regarded as market-leading. Due to growth they are looking for an ambitious Tax Lawyer with around 3 to 5 years PQE to join their expanding Sydney team.

Key Responsibilities

- Advisory: Deliver strategic tax advice on corporate restructures, M&A;, international tax, trusts, and capital gains tax.
- Controversy: Represent clients in ATO audits, reviews, objections,



and litigation matters.
- Client Engagement: Manage direct relationships with private clients, founders, and corporate executives.
- Collaboration: Partner with the firm's Corporate, Finance and Property teams to structure complex commercial deals.

About You

- Experience: 3 to 5 years of PQE in a dedicated corporate or revenue tax practice. Lawyers from the Big4 are encouraged to apply.
- Qualifications: A solid academic record in Law (a Master of Laws or CTA qualification is highly regarded but not essential).
- Technical Skills: Sharp analytical skills with the ability to navigate complex tax legislation and regulations.
- Attributes: A commercial mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, problem-solving drive.
