We are seeking interest from enthusiastic and committed Active Support Workers (ASW) who have a passion for supporting clients under our Active Support model; all focused on enhancing inclusion, independence, and well-being for our clients.

We are actively seeking additional part time team members for our beautiful Lily home located in Coniston.

About Us

As a 'for-purpose' organisation providing Supported Independent Living (SIL) to individuals with a range of sensory impairments and additional disabilities, our focus is to create opportunities for people to enhance their independence, inclusion and wellbeing.

Forsight was established in 1978 by a group of parents and teachers wanting to ensure their children had a pathway to independent living as young adults and beyond. Their mission has expanded to include people with a range of sensory impairments and disabilities, now supporting a growing number of clients in homes throughout Greater Sydney and the Illawarra.

With 16 shared accommodation homes across Greater Sydney and Illawarra, our mission is to provide high-quality care and improve the quality of life for our clients.

About our Roles

The main purpose of our ASW roles is to provide support to their clients using a person-centred approach. Our focus is on recognising the potential in our clients to empower them in their day-to-day living experiences. Communication and liaison with key client stakeholders like families, guardians, and other service providers is critical, as is being able to work well within a passionate team.
