ADHD Australia

Australia

Company Description ADHD Australia is a 100% volunteer organisation dedicated to improving life for people across Australia who are living with ADHD. With the upcoming launch of ADHD Assist, a neurodiverse-friendly community platform, and ADHD TV, an interactive live-stream channel, the organisation is expanding its visibility and impact. ADHD Australia works to move beyond basic awareness toward genuine understanding, accessible support, and accurate representation of ADHD.

Through ADHD Assist, the community is invited to shape its own narrative by connecting people with ADHD to evidence-based information, resources, and support in an accessible format. The organisation collaborates with individuals and resource providers who share a commitment to advancing ADHD understanding and support nationwide.

Role Description The ADHD TV Coordinator is a remote, volunteer role responsible for planning, organising, and overseeing live-stream programming on ADHD TV. This includes coordinating show schedules, liaising with hosts and guests, and ensuring content aligns with ADHD Australia’s mission and is accessible and neurodiverse-friendly. The coordinator will manage day-to-day production activities such as briefing participants, supporting technical setup for live-streams, and monitoring broadcasts to ensure smooth delivery.

The role also involves collaborating with the wider ADHD Assist and ADHD Australia teams to integrate TV content with broader community initiatives, collecting feedback, and suggesting improvements. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a positive, inclusive narrative around ADHD while helping the community access practical, evidence-based information and support.

Ability to learn and use online collaboration tools and streaming software; prior experience is beneficial but not essential.

Previous experience in media, community engagement, or nonprofit work is an advantage but not a requirement.
