About the Department / Program The Monash Children’s Cancer and Haematology Centre (MCCHC), located within Monash Medical Centre (MMC), is a key component of Monash Children’s Hospital (MCH), providing care to approximately 30% of Victoria’s paediatric cancer patients. The service is also the primary treating team at Monash Health for children requiring outpatient management of haematological conditions.

The MCCHC brings together a dedicated paediatric haematology and oncology service within a purpose-built inpatient ward and adjoining day treatment centre. This integrated model supports the delivery of secure, high-quality, and patient-centred care for children and their families across the cancer and haematology continuum. The service continues to provide a comprehensive suite of ambulatory services, including medical oncology and haematology specialty clinics, nurse-led clinics, multidisciplinary clinics,
