About the role:

Our agronomy team are seeking an Agronomy Development Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our potato supply. As our Agronomy Development Manager, you'll connect the field to the factory, working with growers, researchers and manufacturing teams to ensure the highest quality potatoes deliver exceptional products.

You'll lead agronomic initiatives that improve crop performance, drive innovation, strengthen grower partnerships and optimise manufacturing outcomes.

This role will be based at our Orchard Hills site.

What you'll be responsible for:

- Partner with growers to improve crop quality, yield and processing performance.
- Lead potato variety evaluations,



seed development and field trial programs.
- Drive continuous improvement across the field-to-factory supply chain.
- Investigate raw material quality issues and implement practical solutions.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Technical teams to optimise manufacturing performance.
- Build strong partnerships with seed breeders, universities and industry organisations to drive innovation and sustainability.
- Analyse agronomic data to provide technical insights and support business decision-making.

What you'll bring to the role:

- Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Plant Science or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years' experience in commercial agronomy, potato production, crop development or agricultural supply chains.
- Experience with variety trials, seed development and crop production systems.
- Solid stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence growers and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management capability.
- Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or agricultural supply chains will be highly regarded.
