We're a highly regarded kitchen and cabinetry renovation company based in Sydney's Inner West. We're looking for an experienced Kitchen Designer / Sales Consultant who doesn't just have strong design ability, but genuinely thrives on sales — someone who hunts for opportunities and knows how to confidently close.

This is a 100% commission, uncapped role. There's no ceiling, and no base salary either — the earning potential rewards someone who backs themselves to go out, generate opportunities, and get deals signed, not someone waiting for the next appointment to appear in their calendar.

You'll get a flow of inbound leads — but it's on you to qualify them, chase them down, and close them. We won't hand you a warm, ready-to-sign client every time. On top of that, we want someone who doesn't stop at the leads we give you — who's out there proactively finding their own work through referrals, networking, past clients, and their own hustle.

About the Role

- Attend in-home consultations with clients, including evenings/weekends when needed
- Qualify and follow up inbound leads yourself — no hand-holding, no pre-qualified hand-offs
- Proactively hunt for your own new business — referrals, networking, past clients, and your own initiative — on top of the leads we provide
- Design kitchens and cabinetry solutions based on customer needs, current trends, and available products
- Prepare and present concepts and quotations




- Build rapport and confidently guide customers through the full sales process
- Close the sale and manage the project through its initial stages
- Deliver exceptional customer service from enquiry through to sign-up

Skills & Experience

- Proven sales experience with strong, demonstrated closing ability — not just quoting
- Experience in kitchen, cabinetry, renovation or interior design sales preferred
- Comfortable qualifying your own inbound leads and chasing them to a close — you won't be handed warm, ready-to-sign clients
- A genuine hunter mentality — proactive in generating your own new business through referrals, networking and initiative, not reliant on leads alone
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence presenting to clients in their homes
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
- Positive understanding of house plans and spatial layouts
- Computer literacy and ability to learn design/quoting software
- Professional presentation and a customer-focused attitude
- Current driver's licence, reliable vehicle, and full working rights in Australia
