Your Next Opportunity
The Pacific Islands Forum Fisheries Agency (FFA) is looking for a full-time Director of Corporate Services based in Honiara, Solomon Islands.
Reporting to the Deputy Director-General and forming part of the Executive Team, you will lead the Corporate Services Division and provide oversight of the essential corporate functions that support FFA's strategic objectives, ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leading, managing, and coordinating the activities of the Corporate Services Division
- Overseeing Agency business planning and the Annual Work Programme and Budget
- Providing strategic policy and technical advice
- Overseeing human resources management and development functions
- Overseeing administration, property, facilities, and contract management
- Supporting the Agency's Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Framework
- Contributing to the strategic and operational development of FFA as a member of the Executive Team
- Undertaking higher duties as required

What You’ll Bring to the Team
To be considered for this position, you will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Human Resources, Public Administration, or a similar relevant field, along with relevant postgraduate training or qualifications.
You will also bring a minimum of 10 years of senior executive leadership experience at the national level in public service, or operational experience in corporate and support services within an organisation of 100+ staff, regional or international organisations, or equivalent private-sector experience.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
- Excellent awareness of fisheries issues and challenges across the Pacific region
- Knowledge of appropriate protocols for engaging with a wide range of stakeholders
- Solid understanding of systems implementation and change management
- Familiarity with organisational performance management systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead and oversee diverse corporate and support functions
- Highly developed communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences

The position attracts a competitive salary package, based on current levels of experience and qualifications, ranging from approximately USD $93,239 to USD $139,858, PLUS a 16.25% Location Allowance and 17.5% Cost of Living Differential Allowance (COLDA) – TAX-FREE for citizens of most countries!
