Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced API Test Lead with strong expertise in Rest Assured to lead our API testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage automated test frameworks, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of APIs across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the API testing team, providing technical guidance and mentoring.
- Design and develop automated test scripts using Rest Assured and Java.
- Define and implement API testing strategies, frameworks, and best practices.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure API quality.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing of APIs.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Analyze test results, identify defects,



and drive resolution with development teams.
- Prepare detailed test reports and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational quality goals.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Test Lead or Senior QA Engineer in API testing.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Rest Assured and Java.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and HTTP protocols.
- Experience with API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger, Postman).
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
