Position Title: Apprentice Fitter – Visy Plastics Heathwood

Role details:

We’re seeking an Apprentice Fitter to join our Heathwood Plastics Plant. This is a full-time Fixed-term role on a day shift 5.45 am – 2.09 pm with overtime available. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you’ll play a role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.

What you’ll do:

- Working under the supervision of qualified Fitters to complete routine maintenance tasks.
- Attending TAFE and completing coursework to complete your apprenticeship.
- Solid safety mindset and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.

What you’ll bring:

- Any level of experience, from 1st year through to 4th year.




- Mechanically minded and interested in hands-on tasks.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment a bonus.
- Passion for your trade and willingness to learn.
- A proactive attitude and commitment to safety.
