We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee a small but critical commercial cleaning portfolio in Townsville.

This role will be responsible for managing 3 key sites with approximately 35 staff in total, ensuring service standards, contractual KPIs, client expectations, staff performance, WHS requirements and operational outcomes are consistently met.

This is a hands-on management role suited to someone with strong commercial cleaning experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to take ownership of key client sites.

About the Role

As Area Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of cleaning operations across your portfolio. You will work closely with clients, site teams and internal management to ensure the sites are well presented, fully staffed, compliant and performing to agreed service levels.

You will be expected to regularly attend sites, support and guide cleaning teams, resolve operational issues,



monitor standards and ensure all contractual requirements are achieved.

Support recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management of site staff

Ensure staff understand their duties, scopes of work and site expectations

Manage cleaning supplies, equipment and consumables across the portfolio
