- Maintainer to the Australian Federal and NSW Governments, Parklife Metro is leading a transformative metro project connecting St Marys to Bradfield and the new Western Sydney Airport.

The Parklife Metro (PLM) consortium, comprising Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens and Webuild, is delivering the Stations, Systems, Trains and Operations &

- Maintenance (SSTOM) package for the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport project.

RDWSA will proudly operate and maintain six recent stations, 12 metro trains, core rail systems, and a state-of-the-art stabling and maintenance facility at Orchard Hills for 15 years following commencement of operations.

About the Role:Reporting to the O&M; Readiness Director, you will play a key role in supporting the successful transition of Communications &

- Control Systems assets from project delivery into operations and maintenance.

Working closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations,



Digital and Commercial teams, you will support defect management, Testing &

- Commissioning, asset acceptance, handover and operational readiness activities. You will provide technical assurance to ensure critical communications and control systems are safe, compliant, maintainable and ready for passenger service.

Prior to Trial Operations- Provide O&M; and maintainability input into design reviews, Testing &

- Commissioning (T&C;), and progressive asset acceptance activities.
- Support defect governance activities, ensuring defects, non-conformances and incomplete works are identified, assessed and tracked.
- Participate in inspections, technical reviews and asset walkdowns across stations, tunnels and maintenance facilities.
- Review asset handover packages, including asset registers, as-built records, maintenance documentation, warranties and technical data.
- Support the development of maintenance requirements, competencies, spares strategies and asset information.

During Trial Operations and Transition to Operations- Manage and support the close-out of outstanding defects during the Defects Correction Period.

- Conduct technical assessments and support engineering risk reviews and investigations.
- Review design changes, configuration updates and concessions impacting communications and control systems.
- Support knowledge transfer, asset readiness activities and the transition of operational responsibilities to long-term maintenance teams.
