About the Role:

We have numerous expected vacancies for Asset Protection Officer’s in relation to several upcoming short- and long-term projects in the Gladstone, Biloela and Rockhampton region. Due to the nature of the positions, there is a preference for local applicants with DIDO opportunities available.

As an Asset Protection Officers, you will be working in remote and regional operating environments on behalf of our clients to ensure the safety and security of all those operating on site. The successful candidate must be capable of working alone or in small teams, in a proactive and safety focused manner and motivated security professional with a passion for protecting others and always maintaining safety.

? Location: Biloela, Gladstone, Rockhampton Region

? Roster: 7 on / 7 off

? Employment Type: Casual and Full Time Opportunities available

? Travel Type: DIDO, with preference for local candidates

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out all vehicle and foot security patrols to a high standard, ensuring accurate post patrol reports are documented.

- Operate Security equipment including body worn cameras, VMS, access control systems, general office equipment, radios and cameras in a safe and reliable manner.

- Complete Drug & Alcohol Testing as required

- Conduct required inductions, administrative duties, vehicle pre-start checks and reports in a timely and concise manner

- Participate in regular toolbox talks, safety and on the job training/professional development sessions.

- Assist in the maintenance of site assets, uniforms and vehicles, to ensure compliance with site requirements.

- Work safely and professionally while operating independently or as part of a site team

- Support contractual KPIs and deliver services in line with client and company requirements





- Prepare accurate written and verbal reports on safety incidents, security events and patrol activities

- Comply with all Corporate Protection Australia, client and site policies and procedures

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications: For any qualifications noted below, please outline the items which you currently hold in your cover letter and provide copies with your application, or immediately post interview.

- Certificate II in Security Operations

- Current QLD Security Officer’s Licence Class 1 (Unarmed and monitoring)

- Current unrestricted QLD Manual Driver’s Licence

- HLTPAT005 or HLTPAT010 Drug and Alcohol Certificate

- Current HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

- Current HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

- General Construction Induction Card (White Card)

- Proof of Working Rights in Australia (Birth Certificate, Passport or Visa)

- Strong communication, observation and report-writing skills

- Ability to work alone, remain alert and follow procedures in remote or regional environments

- Reliable, professional and safety-focused approach to work

Highly Desirable:

- Current QLD Security Officer’s Licence Class 1 (Crowd Control)
