Job Title: Casual Junior Retail Assistant – Boutique Liquor, Wine & Delicatessen Location: Tweed Heads Area Job Type: Casual 15-20 hrs

About the Role: We are a busy, independent delicatessen and specialty wine store looking for an energetic Junior Retail Assistant to join our front-of-house team. If you have a genuine interest in good food and outstanding drinks, and love delivering excellent customer service, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Providing friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient customer service.

- Assisting with food preparation, slicing, and deli counter service.

- Helping customers navigate our selection of boutique wines and craft beverages.

- Processing sales through the POS system and handling payments.

- Maintaining store cleanliness, merchandising, and restocking shelves.

- Processing & handling deliveries

What We’re Looking For:

- Experience:



Previous experience in the retail liquor industry or restaurant/hospitality sector is essential.

- Skills: Demonstrated food handling skills and an understanding of food safety standards.

- Certifications: A current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.

- Availability: Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings.

- Attributes: A reliable team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn about the food & beverage industry.

- Commitment: We are Industry leaders and will provide on job training to the right candidate.
