At Urbis, our transport planning team provides strategic, end‑to‑end advice to government and private sector clients, helping them understand and respond to the full transport and mobility context of their projects.
Skills Leveraging your technical expertise and proven skills, you'll support our clients by offering sound transport planning/ engineering advice and insights. As an Associate Director within our NSW Transport team, every day is different! You'll make an impact by: Providing expert traffic and transport advice across a diverse portfolio of development, infrastructure and transport projects.
Leading the preparation and review of transport impact assessments, SIDRA modelling, traffic design advice including access, parking, servicing and road network performance.
Managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality client service, commercial performance, and delivery against revenue targets.
Contributing to project forecasting, budgeting, and financial management to support successful project outcomes.
Supporting the delivery of strategic transport advisory projects, helping shape innovative and sustainable transport solutions for clients.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across the business to identify opportunities and deliver integrated, cross-disciplinary project outcomes.
Mentoring and developing team members.
Building and strengthening client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the continued growth and success of the transport practice.

Yours, We're Keen To Connect With You If You Bring The Following Experiences And Attributes Holds relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, planning or a related discipline, together with significant experience (10+ years) in transport planning and traffic engineering.
Recognised by clients and peers as a trusted technical advisor, providing practical, commercially focused transport solutions.
Extensive experience delivering Transport Impact Assessments for complex development and infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated capability in intersection analysis, access design, parking assessments and road network performance investigations.
Strong knowledge of NSW traffic engineering standards, guidelines and approval processes, including experience working with Transport for NSW and local government authorities.
Demonstrated experience in strategic transport planning and integrated transport systems.
Proven ability to lead project teams and provide clients, stakeholders and design teams with confident, practical and technically sound transport advice.
Strong client relationship management skills, with a reputation for responsiveness and trusted advice.
Proven ability to manage and develop team members.
Proven ability to successfully manage projects, budgets and commercial outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, cultivate client relationships and contribute to the growth of a transport advisory business.
