Our Client is a fast-growing non-bank lender offering an innovative residential loan product for equity-richhomeowners who may fall outside traditional bank serviceability models.

Following an internal promotion, they are looking for a Lending Specialist to join the team. This is a sales and credit-focused role, managing direct customer opportunities, assessing lending scenarios and converting quality leads into approved loans.

Key responsibilities include:

- Manage inbound and outbound customer leads and drive conversion through the lending process.
- Understand customers’ financial circumstances and identify suitable lending opportunities.
- Structure residential lending solutions across more complex scenarios.
- Prepare and present credit submissions, applying sound credit judgement and attention to detail.
- Clearly communicate product advantages, lending requirements and key considerations.
- Proactively manage your pipeline and work towards sales, conversion and lending targets.
- Work closely with Credit and support broker-led opportunities where required.

About you:





- Previous experience in residential lending, mortgage sales, credit or a similar role with specific loan origination exposure.
- Commercially minded with a strong sales and origination focus.
- Strong credit understanding and loan structuring capability.
- Confident working with complex customer scenarios and finding practical lending solutions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and influence customers.
- Proactive, resilient and comfortable working towards clear performance targets.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing lending environment.
