Own market growth strategy for a global ecommerce leader
Lovehoney Group is the world’s leading sexual wellbeing company, with a mission to elevate pleasure through innovative technology, data-driven thinking and fresh perspectives on intimacy.
We are home to a portfolio of exciting brands across sexual wellbeing, lingerie and accessories, delivered through a streamlined global ecommerce experience. With more than 800 passionate and progressive people across 11 global offices, we are proud to challenge expectations, do things differently and make a positive impact on our customers’ lives.
We are now looking for an Ecommerce Growth Manager to join our Local Markets Ecommerce team.
This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who thinks commercially, acts like an owner and knows how to turn ecommerce data into growth. You will be responsible for shaping the commercial strategy for a defined region, supporting budget ownership, monitoring trading performance and ensuring the right growth opportunities are being prioritised across onsite, performance marketing, merchandising, pricing and customer experience.
This is not an execution role. You will not be building landing pages, setting up campaigns or managing a team. Instead, you will define the commercial direction, challenge performance, identify the highest-impact opportunities and align global execution teams around what needs to happen next.
If you are an ecommerce, digital trading or commercial growth specialist who wants genuine P&L; influence, global stakeholder exposure and the opportunity to shape how a major market grows, this role could be a strong next step.
What you will do
Own market commercial performance
You will support the Head of Local Market Ecommerce and Market Leads in driving commercial performance across your region, including revenue, gross margin, marketing efficiency, contribution margin, conversion and customer acquisition.
You will help build and manage the annual commercial budget, set targets, track delivery against plan and provide clear recommendations when performance moves ahead of or behind expectations.
Shape the market growth strategy
You will define and maintain a market-specific ecommerce growth strategy, grounded in local customer behaviour, competitor activity, category opportunities, search trends, campaign performance and commercial data.
Your role will be to identify the 2–3 highest-impact growth opportunities for your market at any given time, build the commercial case behind them and rally the right teams around execution.
You will also challenge global strategies where local evidence suggests a different approach is needed.
Lead weekly trading insight and decision‑making
You will monitor daily and weekly trading performance across key ecommerce levers, including traffic, conversion, AOV, promotional effectiveness, channel contribution,
margin and customer acquisition.
You will lead the weekly trading review for your market, providing clear root‑cause analysis, forward‑looking recommendations and confident commercial decisions.
When the market is off track, you will be expected to know why, recommend what needs to change and influence the right teams to act quickly.
Align onsite, trade and performance marketing activity
You will work closely with Onsite Marketing & Trade, Performance Marketing, CRO & Analytics, Brand Marketing, Category Management and Market Leadership to ensure activity is aligned to the right commercial priorities.
You will act as the commercial lead for your market’s performance marketing activity, challenging channel investment, cROI, customer acquisition performance and market opportunity.
You will ensure there is no disconnect between what channels are promising customers and what the website is delivering.
Influence without direct authority
This is an individual contributor role with significant commercial influence. You will need to build credibility with global execution teams, represent your market confidently in commercial forums and challenge decisions constructively with data, insight and clear commercial logic.
What you should bring
- 5+ years’ experience in ecommerce, digital trading, growth, commercial management or a similar online commercial role.
- Proven experience owning or strongly influencing a commercial number, including budgeting, forecasting, trading and delivering against plan.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce performance levers, including conversion, AOV, traffic, channel mix, promotional mechanics, customer acquisition and margin management.
- Experience working closely with performance marketing, onsite trading, merchandising, analytics, brand or category teams.
- Strong analytical capability, with confidence reading dashboards, interrogating forecasts and turning data into clear commercial decisions.
- Commercial confidence, with the ability to make trade‑off decisions across revenue, margin, customer acquisition, brand positioning and long‑term growth.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to brief, challenge and align teams without direct line authority.
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to present a commercial position to senior stakeholders and defend it under challenge.
- Comfort working in fast‑moving,
ambiguous environments where decisions often need to be made without perfect information.
- Curiosity about customers, competitors, market trends and emerging technologies, including how AI can improve ecommerce growth and decision‑making.
What good looks like
You will thrive in this role if you act like an owner. You will not simply report on what happened — you will explain why it happened, what it means and what should happen next.
In this role, success means:
- Your market has a explicit, written commercial strategy that execution teams understand.
- Performance Marketing and Trade teams know the commercial priority before they ask.
- You can clearly explain your market’s biggest growth opportunities and risks.
- You identify performance issues early and recommend action quickly.
- You make confident trade‑off decisions across margin, volume, brand and customer acquisition.
- Global teams see you as a commercial challenger who makes the work sharper and more effective.
- Your weekly trading reviews are focused, honest, commercial and forward‑looking.
What we can offer you
- Hybrid working model, with a blend of in‑office and remote work.
- Global bonus opportunity based on individual and company performance.
- Exposure to a global ecommerce business and international market teams.
- A high‑impact individual contributor role with genuine commercial influence.
- Opportunities for growth, learning and development in a supportive and inclusive workplace.
- Employee Assistance Programme, giving you access to trained professionals for advice and support when needed.
Our process is designed to be clear and efficient:
- CV review
- Introductory conversation with Talent Acquisition
- Final interview with the hiring team
At Lovehoney Group, we are an equal opportunities employer. Every qualified person will be evaluated according to their skills and experience, regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.
If you require accommodations during the interview process due to a disability, please let your Talent Acquisition Specialist know so we can support a smooth and inclusive experience.
We may use AI tools to support CV review and interview note‑taking. You can opt out of recording or AI‑assisted notes at any stage and this will not affect your application.
Lovehoney Group currently operates a hybrid work model, supporting a blend of in‑office and remote work, with 3 days per week in the office.
If this sounds like the next step in your ecommerce career, we would love to hear from you.
