About Steppr
Steppr is a Perth based registered Specialist Behaviour Support provider focused on delivering high quality Positive Behaviour Support while giving practitioners the systems and autonomy they need to do their best work.
We are building a practitioner model for experienced clinicians who want independence without having to establish and operate their own registered NDIS provider.

The position
Steppr is looking for experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners who want greater autonomy, strong hourly earnings and the flexibility to manage their own caseload.
This opportunity is designed for practitioners who already have their own referral networks or participants and want to work under the infrastructure of a registered Specialist Behaviour Support provider without taking on the administrative burden of running their own registered organisation.
The arrangement
- $150 per billable clinical hour
- $75 per billable provider travel hour
- No cap on billable hours
- No earnings cap
- You choose how much you work
- You manage your own availability and caseload
- You can continue working with other organisations
- You bring your own participants and referral relationships
- Steppr manages billing and provides the registered provider infrastructure
- There is no minimum caseload requirement.
- If you want to work 10 hours per week, you can.
- If you want to build a substantial full time caseload, there is no artificial ceiling on your billable hours or earnings.
What Steppr provides Steppr is a registered NDIS Specialist Behaviour Support provider.
Practitioners working with us have access to our organisational systems, compliance framework,
policies, billing processes, participant documentation, clinical governance and administrative infrastructure.
This allows you to focus primarily on your participants and clinical work.
What you provide
You operate as an independent contractor and are responsible for your own business expenses, including your vehicle, fuel, phone, equipment, insurance and other ordinary contractor expenses.
You are responsible for developing and maintaining your own caseload.
We are particularly interested in practitioners who have established relationships with Support Coordinators, providers, families or other referral partners.

This arrangement may suit an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner who:

- Already supports participants or a solid referral network
- Does not want a traditional salaried role
- Wants to increase their earning potential
- Values flexibility and independence
- Wants access to the infrastructure of an established registered provider
- Prefers to be paid directly according to the work they complete
Earnings At $150 per clinical hour:
- 20 billable hours per week equals $3,000
- 25 billable hours per week equals $3,750
- 30 billable hours per week equals $4,500
- 35 billable hours per week equals $5,250
There is no cap on billable hours.
Requirements
- Suitable Behaviour Support Practitioner suitability status with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Current professional registrations or memberships where applicable
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current National Police Clearance
- Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
- ABN
- Strong understanding of NDIS Behaviour Support requirements
- Ability to independently manage participants, stakeholders, documentation and reportin
