About Lizard Centre For over 20 years the Lizard Centre has been a leader in Applied Behaviour Analysis and early intervention in Australia. We provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental conditions. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Behavioural Therapy Assistant who is available to work with a family in Mill Park.
The Family Is Looking For Either
One 3-hour session per week, or
Two 2-hour sessions per week Available session times are: Monday 7:00am - 11:00am
12:00pm - 2:00pm
3:00pm - 6:00pm Tuesday 7:00am - 11:00am
12:00pm - 2:00pm
3:00pm - 6:00pm Thursday 7:00am - 11:00am
12:00pm - 2:00pm
3:00pm - 6:00pm Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 therapy to clients in diverse settings, including home/clinic/school
Support clients in developing their skills; communication, social interactions and emotional regulation
Collect client data to track progress and identify areas of improvement
Foster a positive environment that encourages client participation Skills & Experience Studying or completed a Degree/ Certificate in Psychology, Disability, Education, Occupational Therapy or related field (preferred)
Experience working with children is highly desirable
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal A passion for helping individuals reach their full potential Requirements: Full Australian Driver's License, Vehicle, Car Registration, & Insurance
Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
Working with Children Check & NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
NDIS Worker Orientation Module - 'Quality, Safety and You'
