Bring your fine dining, hotel or corporate hospitality experience into a role offering work-life balance and Monday to Friday hours Role Detail Our Sydney office is seeking a Boardroom Waiter to join our Hospitality team. The client floor is at the heart of our office, and we're looking for a polished hospitality professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for clients and colleagues alike. In this full-time, permanent role, you'll deliver premium hospitality services across our client floor, ensuring meetings, events and boardroom experiences run seamlessly from start to finish.
From welcoming guests to supporting high-profile client functions, you'll play an important role in maintaining the professional and premium service standards that Mallesons is known for. Hours will be rostered Monday to Friday between 7:30am and 6:30pm, with flexibility required to support occasional early morning or evening events.
Key duties will include: Deliver exceptional food and beverage service, including tea, coffee and catering service, to clients and employees in a professional and welcoming manner
Prepare, set up and service meeting rooms and event spaces, ensuring they are presented to the highest standard
Support the delivery of VIP boardroom lunches, client meetings, breakfasts, morning and afternoon teas, cocktail functions and dinners
Assist with the coordination and execution of internal and external events
Provide support across our café and hospitality operations as required
Assist with back-of-house duties including food preparation, dishwashing and stock replenishment
Provide reception relief and other administrative support as required
Undertake additional duties as requested by the Guest Services Manager or Head Chef About You Previous experience in corporate hospitality, boardroom service, fine dining, premium hotels, restaurants, or conference and events environments A genuine passion for delivering exceptional client service and creating memorable guest experiences
Professional presentation and communication skills, with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders and VIP guests
Sound knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine service and silver service principles
Ability to remain calm, organised and attentive in a fast-paced workplace
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Flexibility to support occasional early morning or evening functions
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
Experience working within a law firm, professional services environment, five-star hotel or fine dining venue will be highly regarded Who are we? We are Mallesons.
