About You

You will have solid bookkeeping and financial skills and experience and be committed to social justice.

Key accountabilities include

· Administer accounts and banking

· Prepare monthly reconciliation statements

· Prepare accounts payable and receivable using MYOB

· Process fortnightly payroll

· Complete BAS, IAS, and Superannuation reporting requirements

· Complete financial returns to funding bodies and Government Departments

· Maintain employee accountability documentation and assist with onboarding and induction

· Prepare financial reports from MYOB for the Community Industry Group Board

· Assist CEO with annual budget forecast

· Assist with annual audit with external auditor

Qualifications and Experience

· Minimum Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting

· Experience using MYOB accounting software

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Sound knowledge of Excel and Outlook

· Must be self-motivated and organised with outstanding attention to detail

· Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
