The Opportunity

Our client owns and manages a luxury residential development of around 300 apartments on the Gold Coast. Well constructed and only several years old, the development features a private gym and magnesium pool and is a genuine luxury asset in one of the fastest-growing pockets of the Gold Coast.

As Building Manager,



you'll take full accountability for the day-to-day operation of the tower, reporting directly to the General Manager. This is a hands-on, fully accountable role, not a caretaker position, with a maintenance team and cleaning team reporting to you and close working relationships with concierge, rental and back-office support functions.

What You'll Be Doing

- Owning the body corporate budget end-to-end: building it, forecasting costs and identifying where money is being lost.
- Managing relationships with tier-one contractors, holding the line on the five-star finish and brand standard the building is known for.
- Getting ahead of forward maintenance and capital works planning as the building moves into it's next stage of life.
- Providing commercial input on retail tenant mix and positioning alongside the leasing team.
- Mentoring the current Maintenance Leader as she develops toward
