## About Our Client

Our client is a leading South Australian manufacturer and supplier of quality steel building products, specialising in carports, verandahs, garages, industrial sheds and outdoor structures. With a strong reputation for quality, reliability and customer service, they are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Building Supervisor / Carport & Verandah Estimator to join their team at their Para Hills West Head Office.

## About the Role

This is a diverse and hands-on role that combines site review and check measuring of carports and verandahs with customer technical support on product installation.

Working closely with the Sales and Operations teams, you will play a key role in ensuring customer projects are accurately defined, professionally documented and efficiently progressed from sales and quoting through to production and installation.

You will also assist customers with site preparation requirements, general coordination, and provide technical support on steel building requirements and standards to both internal and external stakeholders.

## Key Responsibilities

- Assist with providing accurate estimates for carport and verandah projects.

- Measure and assess project requirements, including site visits where required.

- Produce detailed drawings, structural component drawings and site plans.

- Ensure all projects comply with engineering requirements and contractual obligations.

- Liaise with suppliers, technical support providers and internal departments as required.

- Coordinate with Purchasing, Factory, Dispatch and Administration teams to support project delivery.





- Provide technical assistance to customers, agents and trade partners.

- Assist with project planning, production scheduling and workflow management.

- Coordinate and supervise site maintenance activities and contractors as required.

- Maintain high levels of accuracy, quality and attention to detail across all work.

## About You

You are an organised and technically capable professional who enjoys working across both office and site-based activities. You thrive in a collaborative environment and take pride in delivering accurate work and practical solutions.

### Essential Requirements

- Strong understanding of building and construction methods.

- Current driver's licence.

- Experience in Building Design, Drafting or a related field.

- Excellent organisational and time management skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

### Desirable

- Experience within the building, construction or manufacturing industry.

- Experience with steel structures, carports or verandahs.

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.

- Building Supervisor Licence or willingness to obtain.

- Qualifications in Building Design, Drafting or a related field.
