About the Role:

We are seeking a Bus Driver to join our team on a Casual Basis.

Various shifts are available, providing flexibility to suit your schedule.

You will be based at our Burdett House, located at 65 Burdett Street Hornsby NSW 2077.

Burdett House is seeking an experienced Bus Driver to provide safe and secure transportation for residents during social outings and leisure activities. You will play an important role in supporting residents to remain connected with their community while ensuring their comfort, safety, and wellbeing. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service, resident care, and protected driving practices, while working collaboratively with our lifestyle and care teams.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

- Current Australian Driver Licence Class C (Essential)

- Valid Police Check (Essential)





- Previous aged care experience (Desirable)

- Strong commitment to safety and responsible driving practices

- Excellent communication skills

- Excellent customer service skills and a resident-focused approach

- Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team

- Empathetic, caring and compassionate attitude towards residents

- Friendly, approachable and professional manner

- Reliability, punctuality and strong work ethic

- Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families and staff

- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
