Role Description The Business Analyst (Entry / Junior) is a part time, hybrid role based in Sydney, NSW, with the flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. This role supports the analysis and improvement of business processes and requirements related to academic and administrative operations. Day-to-day tasks include gathering and documenting business requirements, mapping existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending data-informed improvements.

The Business

Analyst will assist in preparing reports and presentations, collaborate with stakeholders across departments, and help translate business needs into clear, actionable plans. The role also involves maintaining documentation, supporting small projects under supervision, and communicating findings in a clear and structured manner.

Qualifications

Strong analytical skills and foundation in business analysis to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision-making.





Ability to understand and document business processes and business requirements, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to work with diverse stakeholders and present findings clearly.

Relevant tertiary education (completed or in progress) in Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.

Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software) and basic familiarity with data analysis techniques.

Capacity to work independently and in a team, manage part-time hours effectively, and adapt to a hybrid work environment.

Interest in the education sector and willingness to learn institutional processes and regulatory requirements.
