About the role
Join our Infrastructure & Operations team as a full-time Municipal Employee and enjoy a varied, hands-on role maintaining roads, parks, sporting facilities and public spaces our community relies on every day. Working with a supportive team, you'll help deliver essential services while operating a range of plant and equipment in a role where no two days are the same.

Position Responsibilities
- Maintain parks, reserves and public open spaces.
- Assist with road and stormwater maintenance.
- Operate and maintain plant and equipment.
- Support civil construction and infrastructure projects.
- Participate in emergency call-outs and after-hours work when required.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential
- A satisfactory police clearance
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment
- Truck Licence (MR class)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Experience operating some or all of the following plant:
- Backhoe
- Front end loader
- Tractor
- Bobcat
- Slasher
- Excavator
Desirable
- Traffic management accreditation
- First Aid Certificate
- Turf management or horticultural experience
Selection Criteria
1. Experience in landscaping, construction, municipal works or a similar field.
2. Ability to safely operate a range of plant and equipment.
3. Commitment to workplace health and safety.
4. Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with the public.
5. Ability to follow instructions and use initiative.
