Business Development Manager – Data Centres
As Australia's demand for data centres continues to accelerate, Ampcontrol is expanding its presence in one of the country's fastest-growing industries. We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager – Data Centres to drive strategic growth, build lasting customer partnerships, and position Ampcontrol as a trusted solutions provider across the mission-critical infrastructure sector.
About the Role
This position is responsible for developing and executing Ampcontrol's Data Centre growth strategy. You'll identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing customers across the rapidly evolving digital infrastructure market.
Working closely with engineering, project delivery, technical specialists, marketing and senior leadership, you'll develop go-to-market strategies, identify emerging opportunities, and help shape Ampcontrol's long-term success in this critical sector.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to grow Ampcontrol's presence in the data centre sector.
- Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities while strengthening existing customer relationships.
- Build strategic partnerships with data centre owners, operators, consultants, contractors, developers and technology partners.
- Drive opportunities across current builds, expansions, upgrades, critical power and electrical infrastructure projects.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts and CRM records, while collaborating with internal teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
