With significant investment in technology, data, and business transformation initiatives, they are seeking a versatile Business Systems Analyst to play a key role in bridging the gap between business operations, technology solutions, and data-driven decision-making.

Your New Role

As the Business Systems Analyst, you'll take on a diverse and business-facing role that combines traditional business analysis responsibilities with business intelligence reporting and occasional hands-on user support.

Working closely with stakeholders across multiple business functions, you will gather and document requirements, analyse business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and help deliver technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

Alongside your business analysis responsibilities, you will design, develop, and maintain BI reports and dashboards, providing valuable insights to support strategic and operational decision-making. You'll also provide occasional on-site support and troubleshooting, acting as a trusted point of contact for system users and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities include

- Engaging with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
- Mapping and improving business processes across multiple operational areas.
- Collaborating with technical teams to deliver system enhancements and projects.
- Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using contemporary BI tools.




- Interpreting data and presenting actionable insights to business leaders.
- Supporting the testing, implementation, and adoption of new systems and processes.
- Providing occasional on-site support, troubleshooting, and user assistance.
- Assisting with system administration, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Need to Succeed To be successful in this role, you'll be a well-rounded professional who enjoys engaging with stakeholders, solving business problems, and working with data.

You will ideally bring

- Experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar hybrid role.
- Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience developing BI reports, dashboards, and data visualisations.
- Practical knowledge of SQL and reporting platforms such as Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
- Experience supporting business applications, ERP systems, or enterprise platforms.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to provide occasional hands-on support when required.
- Experience within manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or industrial environments will be highly regarded.
