Are you passionate about great food, quality coffee, and delivering outstanding customer service? The Waves Sports Club is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Café All-Rounder and/or Short Order Cook to join our dynamic café team.

This casual position offers a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll be involved in preparing delicious café meals, making quality coffee, providing exceptional customer service, and helping create a welcoming experience for our members and guests.

About the Role

As a Café All-Rounder your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and cooking a variety of fresh café meals, including sandwiches, burgers, pizzas and light meals.
- Producing consistently high-quality food with excellent presentation.
- Preparing barista-style coffee and a range of beverages,



including milkshakes and cold drinks.
- Providing friendly, efficient customer service and taking customer orders.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked café environment.
- Following all food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Working collaboratively with the café team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in a café, restaurant or hospitality environment, ideally as a Café All-Rounder.
- A passion for preparing quality food and beverages.
- Barista experience or a willingness to learn.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and the ability to work well within a team.
- Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Availability to work a adaptable roster, including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
